How To Schedule an Event

To host an event, all you need to do is identify a space, organize a group of volunteers, and raise the funds to purchase the raw materials. After that, we will bring everything to you, facilitate your event, and then deliver your meals to a local nonprofit working to fight hunger. We would be happy to donate your meals to any organization that you have specific interest in supporting, but please be aware that we are delivering the meals ourselves, so there are geographic restrictions.

We operate at a $0.25 per meal cost, so plan the size of your packaging event based on your fundraising capabilities. The typical work rate we use to estimate the number of volunteers needed is 200 meals/volunteer hour. We can always help with recruiting additional volunteers if you would like us to.

We ship in our raw materials from the Midwest, so please plan to have your fundraising completed at least 1 month in advance of the planned event. This will allows us to process the order and ensure that the materials make it to the packaging location on time.
For organization’s that do not have a set space on campus to conduct a packaging event, you can register space at STAMP through the orgsync website (https://orgsync.com/71620/chapter). Please let us know if you are having difficulty with this and we would be happy to help out.
